South African Airways

South African Airways made this recommendation in 1999 on completion of a programme to train Flight Engineers to qualify for the Commercial Pilot Licence with Instrument Rating (Multi-Engine):

“After visiting all the major flight schools in South Africa, Progress Flight Academy was selected to do this training because they had the best equipment and an excellent location for instrument flight training.

“The training was completed to a high standard, on time and on budget. All students graduated and successfully completed their B737 First Officer training.
